- 2018 : a French professional association decided to organize a visit of a national market. HUB1 suported its leaders by facilitating high level contacts with local authorities and business organizations.
- 2017 : an institutional asset manager based in Luxembourg decided to open its real estate portfolio to Middle-Eastern investors. HUB1 supported its project by establishing the right links with key family offices and banks in the GCC region.
- 2016 : a major Middle-Eastern conglomerate used the services of HUB1 to represent its interests in Europe and support its endeavour to gain the representation rights of European companies in its home market.
- 2015 : a multinational group, leader in its market, was facing a vigorous competition in the Middle-East. Its lack of local presence in a country was an issue to win a major public RFP. The group decided to achieve the acquisition of a local company and appointed HUB1 in order to find the right target. The acquisition was completed on due time and the group was able to win the contract.
- 2014 : a listed multinational company headquartered in Paris, specialized in providing highly advanced telecommuniation encryption systems, was looking to offer its solutions in the GCC area. It gave HUB1 the mission to seek partners and negotiate JV agreements with them.
- Before 2014 : HUB1's founder was already consulted by several multinational corporations to advise them about the best manner to establish their operation in the Middle-East. In 2014 the decision was made to incorporate HUB1 in order to keep performing these services and perfectly comply with the legal and regulatoy obligation of clients listed on the stock exchange.
Background
HUB1's founder has been educated in France. Initially interested by mathematics and sciences, he turned to the humanities and entered Ecole Spéciale Militaire of Saint-Cyr where he concentrated on international relations before serving as an officer in the French Army once graduated. Attracted by economy and risk management which he studied in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers of Paris he then joined the private sector, specializing in financial services and risk management. He lived in Doha and Istanbul and is currently based in Paris while working between Western Europe and the Middle-East.

By maintaining during several years close and regular links with the decision-makers of the Middle-Eastern countries we developped a different perspective on the regional matters which is highly valuable for our business partners.
We are also consulted for our knowledge about the market conditions (competition, regulation, etc.) applicable to financial services, especially in the field of insurance and reinsurance.
Upon request we share our point of view in some articles and interviews with specialized newspapers and think-tanks. We also attend professional and academic conferences as a speaker to discuss these matters.
